Action in the Hennepin County District Court for personal injuries allegedly sustained by plaintiff when a bus of defendant Twin City Motor Bus Company, driven by its employee, defendant Philmore Bissett, struck a street light maintained by defendant Northern States Power Company, causing part of it to fall and strike plaintiff. The case was tried before John A. Weeks, Judge, and a jury, which returned a verdict for plaintiff for $26,500 against the bus company and the driver only. Said defendants appealed from an order denying their motion for judgment or a new trial.
